I am sick and tired of seeing “Copycatting” of everything. I open my email and what do I see? 20 people trying to sell the same thing. What happened to originality? The sad part is they are all attempting to sell what I and most of us already own. The Internet is too big for everyone to copy each other, come on people if you have real talent, show it, don’t copy the next guy…it is boring and stupid.

It is almost like American Idol and hearing songs that are carbon copies of the originals…real talent makes it your own. Use your words, pick a unique ensemble of products (or create your own) and show your true talents. I am taking my time to carefully learn all aspects before I throw out the same old stuff they are doing. Actually I will never do it the way it is currently being done, I am my own person, unique and ORIGINAL!

How many people are really buying this anyway…if you contact me I can show you how to gain the majority of all that for FREE! Now true that is getting a little off the subject of this writing but I just have an overwhelming need to set the record straight.

Who am I? My name is Laurie Brandt I am a Net Marketing Consultant and I honestly want to help people discover their own “Niches”, not copy what is going on and around them. Look at it like this…”you have a Quarter and 40 Gumball machines competing for that 1 Quarter. Copycat Marketing is just what it says it is…BE ORIGINAL. BE YOU! Can I help you with that? There is one thing however we all have in common, we want to make MONEY! There is a right and wrong way to go about this. Most of these folks peddling the same set of products will be gone far sooner than you think; a few will make it, survival of the fittest!

Those took there time and learned and that is their “NICHE”, now find yours. Everyday my inbox is full of names of folks I have no clue how they are selling the same exact thing as 1000 other people, I could be another name on that list, I have all the Software and can turn you on to that too. There are people that will promise you all the answers for a price…you must learn to discern the good from the bad (YES I SAID THAT), some are only interested in filling up their bank accounts with your money, there are a select few that are HONEST and DO NOT overcharge and you get far more than your monies worth. Your ROI is fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time (Not Over Night, In 30 days or any other Hype lies). Any legit, true biz takes time to build and you have to learn it first. I can hand you Software and say go sell now, does NOT mean you are gonna make a lot of money. The odds are you are not!

I am here to tell it the way it really is, NO B.S., NO GAMES, a simple word…HONESTY! I want to help and can and will put you in the right place to find your “Niche”, get you properly educated so you do not become “Copycatter so called Marketer” that eventually ends up in debt and no where to turn. I do apololgize for my absense but it truly was beyond my control, Runaway 15 year olds, Bad People, and many lessons learned. Hi All,

Well we attended the "Hearing" on my (excuse me, our Benefits)...How did it go? Your guess is as good anyone's. I am scared but trying to remain optimistic. My kids I think (Knock wood) are ok and will be able to keep their benefits. I am non-trusting of them,M Fletcher told so many lies I thought the room was a carpet and rug Gallery.

I only want to get out of their system but due to health reasons need them till I get on my feet and have secured health care for my family! I have done nothing wrong and what it all boils down too is lack of info as the policies change like the seasons and no they do NOT tell you. Shock effect, wow what a reality!

I will be keeping this short as I need to start working on my Consulting site and continuing to improve my Copywriting skills. I will do my best to write here daily...If I miss, I am either Super busy, or sick and unable to do this. I have good and bad days and not very good health...but I am determined to beat the odds and carry on and succeed.

Hi all,

Sorry I have not posted recently but I have been hit HARD AND I MEAN HARD! I have been trampled, accused, of things that are just plain Ludicrous! Me owning TONS of Internet Businesses that are making a Fortune!?!?

She Must lack the ability to read as my Postings clearly say it's a struggle that the majority of us know and know well. How many of us are Disabled? or Disadvantaged in some way? I have clearly stated I had not discovered my "NICHE"...but...today I believe I stumbled upon it. I love to learn, help others, good at researching and accidentally paid for a 3 month Copywriting Course (Signed up for 3 day trial and got under attack by this woman in Power and forgot to cancel, so now I am using it to the best of my ability as it is now paid for), but that's only half of it.

I think my "Niche" is Consulting/Copywriting. This way I can continue to research, learn about Marketing On and Offline and share that info with others. I want to honestly help people and you do not have to be Disabled or at a Disadvantage to get my help.

My "Journey" is just beginning and I have much to learn ( You NEVER stop Learning, when you do you are DONE!) I have not decided exactly yet how this will operate...I wished I were rich then I could offer services for nothing to almost nothing. But my policy has always been, Low Prices, High Quality, that will never change!

Other programs will remain intact for those of you that are interested in Quality Education (Webucation) but my "NICHE" is Consulting and Copywriting! My mentor is Michael Senoff, Michael Fortin, and Ray Edwards and a few others but this is about the subject matter and that is what they do...Consult or Copyright, or both.

My point to all of this is that someone in a position of Power (Keep In mind I am disabled and on almost $2000 worth of meds monthly to function) and she took it all away and lied to me, then took my childrens benefits away...she went all through the net to find this Blog (Read On M. Fletcher), my Million Dollar sites (LOL), she has me confused with Mike Filsaime and has literally put me through 2 weeks of mortal terror. Why? Because she thinks I am making all this cash on this Internet.

Oh how I wish that were true...but she has made me mad enough and when she hurt my innocent children my drive to succeed grew 1000% stronger to become the best of the best and I will succeed. I have always said "Rome Was Not Built in a Day", but I am smart, I have taught myself, JavaScript (After learning HTML in school), CSS, DHTML, my heart is not in Web Design and my disability keeps from even attempting to do it professionally but they are great skills to have on hand in this Business.

Many Top Gurus (and I know one who will tell you he can't even spell HTML, but he's making a Fortune) do not know these skills and pay people or use FrontPage (which is cool, I have 2 certifications in FP, 1 and 2)...or some WYSIWYG type of editor for site and page building. I have built sites in FP and think Bill Gates is a very smart man. He created Windows, very user friendly, you know like good "Customer Service" in a Box! I still use FP on Mini Sales Pages and Landing/Capture pages...actually I am with ISOR/UL/ProfitYesterday and they have a very cool user friendly editor and I am using one as I write this in this Blog...So with that I'm cool with them.

I do want to learn as much as possible about Consulting/Copywriting...I know a little, people tell me I am my own worst critic...Honestly though I just want to help people get a start and be able to maintain a Business! AOL, Yahoo will soon be charging to send emails…They are calling it “Goodmail CertifiedEmail”. Many of us use Yahoo, we mostly have ARs to send out our mailings but how will this affect us who are sending an answer back to a member ( I use all Web Based Email), colleague, family, or friend?

Hi, my name is Laurie Brandt. I have been around doing everything from Web Design, Hosting, Affiliate programs, Marketing programs, reading tons of books since 1999 and I am seeing the why’s we all question and addressing them. You see all of these Marketing programs springing up everywhere like banks and for the owner of the program it is a BANK! It makes them rich if they are good, well known and did this right!

Will our buying all these Marketing programs make us Rich? We already know the answer to that…of course not! Will some Marketing programs help you make money, YES! But not give you the Bank. No one, not even me will tell you all their treasured secrets, I will admit I will tell you most cause I am like you and want to succeed. Plus I am NOT Greedy, nor are all Marketers, some are really cool! But some are about self and filling up their Bank and taking our money.

How do we succeed? I Have investigated a few programs that I believe in and in time think they will prevail the amounts of money I desire…Rome was not built in a Day and in all honesty these Marketing programs took a lot of cash to put together, along with trial and error, to get it to work for them.

If I were rich I would give 1000 people or more a FREE top notch program for FREE! I am not so that’s not going to happen today. But what can we do today to get our foot in the Bank Door? Some of these Programs run well into the thousands, some charge a monthly fee (more my speed), some will give you payment options…but still that BIG question looms, can we afford it? For most of us we can’t…so what do we do? And these are the “Good Guy Marketers” I am referring too.

Well I attended a Teleseminar Call the other night and got some real useful info, was it free, no, nothing out here is free. Whoever said they made X amount without spending a dime, is a Liar! (Unless when the Net Opened up Commercially over 10 years ago, they might have and I even question that too.)

But a few basics I want to share that will help start putting some money in your pockets…we all MUST start somewhere. I am a member of a Marketing program (and an Excellent One, Made an excellent commission check and only joined a month ago) that I believe in time will put a good amount of money in my pocket, and in time maybe the knowledge to create my own Marketing program and have my own Bank. What can we do in the meantime?

*Use Affiliate Programs, Be Careful Which ones you Choose. It is an excellent place to begin and I have made money using them and will gladly pass them onto you at the end of this report.

*Read “Think and Grow Rich” By Napoleon Hill and “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” By Robert Kiyosaki, you can find them in Google and “Think and Grow Rich” can found Free. I will also add that to the end of this Report. “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” I have not been able to locate for free but Amazon has “Used” copies that are like fairly cheap. I’ll Get Some Pricing Ideas for you!

*Pick out a Handful Of Affiliate Marketing Programs (Investigate, Read forums) to Create Multiple Streams of Income! I have put together a list that I know to be trustworthy and will make you money (see bottom of Report). Please keep in mind at all times, no action results in no action…meaning if you do not Promote and work the Program you will gain absolutely nothing. All these pay a fee and make a Fortune is a Rip-off, the only person making a Fortune is the one you gave your money too. And again, if you do pay for a good program and do NOTHING, you get just that, NOTHING!

*Build an Opt-List (Not Easy) but a Must to have, use a Landing/Capture page with your Auto responder on it. I have some ideas you can use but remember this is not an easy task...people will actually say “NO” to good useful information. You have to try different things, get known and become Trustworthy. I will give you some Bonus materials to use in your efforts to build your Opt-in list and then you must be patient and study the ways of others that will share what worked for them. CREATE A Page similar to this and promote it on the Net once you have gotten a good feel of what you need to do and have seen solid results from your efforts. Never lie, just destroys your credibility and then NO ONE will want your Products, programs, etc.

*Use a few Good Safelist (Again Investigate, Free ones will NOT get much attention) Promote your programs through them. Build a Solid Downline, this is a form of Opt in list also. I will give you a list of some that I have good results to fair results with…but still remember to investigate and look for some that may work for you. I do not have every answer; if I did I would be RICH by now!

*Join some Networking Programs and share with others and learn, soak up all the good info you can get your hands on. I have a few that are very good and responsive…one that makes me good money! I WILL DISCLOSE A LIST OF WHAT HAS WORKED FOR ME AT BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!

*Then if you want to try your hand at Marketing, get a Product you believe in and promote it along with your Affiliate Programs! I have a few ideas for you here too and will give you this info…are the products free? Some, the good ones are not free, I sell them cheaper than anyone else and will also give you Free Memberships to some Great sites that also have great resources that you can make money with. You are under no obligation to buy anything from me. These are just what has worked for me

*Then Promote, promote, and promote! Attend Teleseminars, live ones when you can so you can ask questions, not everyone gives you that opportunity but most do. Grab some Offline text books on Marketing, Affiliate marketing, you can get tons of Great Books at Amazon that says used but I have purchased many and they look new to me when I get them.

Read Materials on Copywriting…if you hate to write there are software programs that will do it for you or you can go to elance.com or some other agency and get a lot of stuff done cheap. Shop around. I am going to give you a just about everything you need to get started. But Rule #1: You MUST Promote, You must do your part, or nothing happens! Rule #2: see Rule #1! This is serious. This whole thing is serious, and if you are serious and dedicated, determined, nothing will get in your way.

*The links I provide, please use…they are useful, beneficial and of GREAT value. I am giving you 2 free Memberships, which 1 is worth $26 monthly. There is even free hosting there, E-Books, Software, sooo many resources. So please do not take this lightly, I want you to succeed and am giving this to you for FREE! There is probably at least a grand in the free stuff and resources.

*Teamwork and the POWER OF KNOWLEDGE AND NUMBERS! It works and it’s worth it, getting my 1st commission check from that program I just joined a month ago was too cool…they pay and any program I ever offer does…I will never at anytime offer you junk!

*If you sit still and do nothing, nothing will happen, that’s a PROMISE! I actually know Affiliate Marketers that make over 100k Yearly! Money can be made many ways on the net…but keep it clean…don’t email people with RE: in the subject line, good way to lose trust in that person who is trying to sell you something. Be honest…I know I said I would not give out all my secrets, well I just did…I am not making 6 figures, I am disabled and some days I just can’t do anything…but I keep it honest and clean and will gladly refund money to an unhappy customer.

*My list is still small but responsive, I believe in giving away good stuff that will help and benefit. I have 10 out of 10 at a networking program I use, but I still have a long ways to go. The key…DO NOT GIVE UP! You will hit slumps but it always gets better. During these slumps or slow periods take that time and read, learn, listen to CDs, Audio/Video files that pertain to the subject matter. Never waste time, your goal is to become Automated but never Isolated…make sure your members can always contact you. Your Autoresponder can do a lot but it can’t answer every question customers, members, potential customers may need answers or help with, so please make yourself available.

*Try and test different things…I myself still have not found my Niche of choice but believe I will in the next few months…you will too. Just always, keep it clean, honest, and never be cheap. Your list will hang around longer if you treat them good, don’t email them to death and if you give gifts, give beneficial ones, they will appreciate you for that.

Our Shot…The Journey That NEVER Ends!

After many years of testing this and that, I have learned that it is truly a game of trial an error. You can read 1000s of e-Books and still have NO answers. I personally found more help thru research and a few Books (offline Text) that gave me the best answers. And the thing is it is a never ending learning game as the Net is an ever changing playground.

Now this is not to say that there are not some excellent e-books out there, there are many, but you must be selective as many so called GURUs rewrite the same book over and over with a different Author.

This is actually my first e-book and may take sometime to finish but it will written with as much Honesty and Truth as I can muster as I HATE reading BS so I Promise you no BS! The 1st entry of this will go into my mailing list to let people know it is on the way.

Now let's cover a few Topics of interest:
TRAFFIC EXCHANGES: Most are no hitters, just to get your site seen and maybe if your lucky a customer here and there...I prefer to call this “Branding” and you my use Banners to help you in this task. The object is to plant a subliminal message in their sub-conscious that YOU exist and you web address will stick there. I have been using this "Branding Method", does it work? Don't know yet, only been using it for a short while but I know that sites I see stick in my mind when I need something so there has to be something to this method of Advertising!

FFA LINKS: LEAVE ALONE: Not even well for Branding, just filling your inbox with OPPs offers!

Opt In List: Here is you’re key, but not as easy as it sounds. People will really turn down free stuff! So test different Freebies till you find one that works, sort of like with email Mailing List and That magic Headline.

Once you have your Opt-In List established you may then work on your mailings and mail list. Content is King but NO ONE will open your email without that GREAT Headline! Again, test and play around till you find Headlines that works best for you. Keep the winners and throw out the no shows!

Content is KING!
No one cares how great your product is but you, what they care about is what is in it for them...Tell them. Tell them exactly what your product will do to increase their productivity, save them money, etc. Now keep in mind that everyone is different and some want to save money, some want other things that your product does. Make a list of everything your Product(s) will do for your customer! Put it all out there and hold back nothing! Write more than one, be creative, and put you in your writings...like me this is my 1st to go to publish...my goal is to be HONEST with you, factual and available to answer any questions you may have. I will be honest, I am NO WRITER! But facts I can put together and I read, and this will help you too. Grab all the Copywriting materials you can find, there will be some on the website for free and Google’s a good place, plus I will list links at the bottom of this writing for you.

Now, where to get started? Do you have a website? A Product(s)? Are you an Affiliate? Whatever you are doing you can turns word into money...Where to start other than what is covered. I like Herculist.com they have a free option but the upgraded feature will make it possible for you to mail more often and if your writings are on time you’ll net a sale here and there. Have I done it? Yes I Have! My Goal...to become better, your goal? Always to be better, learn more as said it is Battle field and you MUST NOT STOP! It takes perseverance, ambition, strong will and you have it. Just keep practicing and you will see things start to change. Study Sales letters, 1 page Mini Sites (a form of sales letter), study what others are saying for ideas, Benchmarking! Pick out a few GURUs and study all their FREE stuff and if you have money buy some of their stuff.

I run no one down so I can't tell you who to study or not! Go to Forums and read, you'll get a good idea of who is good and who to stay away from, and trust me everyone has something to say about everyone (including me) so weigh the good responses vs. the bad to get an idea of who is good and who is bad. Who can help you etc?

Another thing before I forget...always write in short paragraphs...easier to read. People get eye strain tying to read a LONG paragraph and give up. So keep it lite and in small Paragraphs at all times.

Free Software? Over 117 Products! My Opinion!

Hello Friends,

Well there is the New 117FreeGifts.com Deal. I have joined as a JV Partner (so if you are interested in JVing with me check out link at bottom). Some of the programs are Great, Some DO NOT WORK at all! And you can add your own contributions. Overall, it's an ok idea, reminds me of Napster or some other File Sharing Site, just with Software as it is basically a File Sharing type program.

They say you will earn and there is of course a Product(s) behind the whole idea they are trying to sell. Now there are many duplicate Program as they are submitted buy different people (File Sharing), is this legal? That I am not sure about but know that a place just turned away an Ad I was attempting to send saying they were banned, RED FLAG 1!

I am gonna keep my eye on this one and see what happens next and if needed, pull out and tell anyone that joins under me to also get out of there.

The Pro's! Everyone that downloads your product becomes your opt in list and you MUST sign agreement to this before downloading any Programs, so that is a Plus. I think it is one of these we will watch and see and hope them the best with it. I contributed a Program and LOTS of people are Downloading it! The Con? The more copies that are DLed the more referrals and JV members you must get before they will give you the list that has been collected for you. Hey, that's a motivator to promote, huh?

Hi All,

This is my 1st enrtry to my New Blog. Please feel free to leave me feedback, comments, ask questions, anything except stuff you know you should not say publicly.

As many have recently learned we have re-designed DigitalDiscounts10 (hereby known as DD10), I do hope the new Design is more pleasing to the eye and much more useful.
